Delivered to North East England
Cable sand delivered across the North East
Tyneside, Wearside, Teesside, County Durham and Northumberland. Northern Powergrid runs the network across the North East as well as Yorkshire, so the same rules apply: selected sand or cement-bound sand around cables of 33 kV and above, and sand to ENA TS 97-1 for the special backfill.
Operator rules last checked 2 October 2026.
