Delivered to East Midlands
Cable sand delivered across the East Midlands
Derby, Nottingham, Leicester, Lincoln and Northampton, across much of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. National Grid Electricity Distribution, formerly Western Power Distribution, runs the network here, and its standard asks for crushed stone dust rather than sand to bed and blind its cables. We supply both the stone dust and cable sand, so check your drawings for what your job needs.
Operator rules last checked 2 October 2026.

- Blinding: a further 75 mm of the same over the cable or duct before the warning tape.
- Ducts: bedded and blinded by 75 mm of the same across the full trench width.
